We promise that when you make a purchase, we will set aside 25% of your net payment towards the Birth Aid Fund - which you can clearly determine in our calculation counter page. As well as what that amount is likely to do.
We promise that you will have the chance to choose to buy your afribol at the base price in which a quarter of the net profit goes to our initiative, or for any additional price you want - with the implication of raising the impact quota as shown in the calculation counter page.
We promise to diligently report on these steps and activities in our quarterly updates for as long as we are yet to have a better reporting alternative.
We promise that as of December 31, 2024, we will begin providing these quarterly reports, detailing our progress. These reports will offer a transparent view of our activities, including the amounts raised and how they are being used.
We promise that any business or entrepreneurial individual ordering at least two boxes per month has the right to request a report or year-end summary of our activities during our reporting season as indicated in our calculation counter.
We promise to respect your input and suggestions regarding areas of the world where money-related maternal deaths are rampant. We will carefully consider these areas for inclusion in our efforts at any given time. We offer you the entire gamut of Afribols in our customer packages, to give you an experience of all 3 categories of Afribol and their various varieties. It is a bonanza of experience that we call Starter packages. The starter package is designed to give you the opportunity to discover what you love best in the Afribol universe. That means, with any of the 3 starter packages, you receive 9 varieties of Afribols. 3 within the ORIGNAL PACKAGE; 3 within the KOFFIEBOL PACKAGE and 3 within the FIREBOLS PACKAGE.
For businesses, this means have the opportunity todetermineif you will continue to order these combo or you will order specific varieties in different packge offerings or a mix of both.

There are three categories of Afribol in the Afribol packages that businesses receive. They are:
Afribol Original
Koffiebol
Firebol /or Hotbols.
Afribol Original
Koffiebol
The Afribol Original combines food aroma, cayenne, wild chili, roasted coconut, and doused raisins to create a stunning combination of African, Caribbean, and Dutch culinary traditions, using a proprietary process that takes up to 24 hours at a time to complete.
It comes in 3 varieties. Each has a different constitution, bringing together different taste sensations in their individual helpings:
Afribol Original: has the exact constitution as the original oil-based traditional Afribol, but this time oven-based, though prepared totally differently from the oil-based original traditional version. It is still as dreamy as that version but this time even more spungy, springy and intoxicatingly delicious (according to what we hear) than the traditional.
Afribol Delux is out-of-script due to its addition of rich sour dairy cream and citroen punch. It also combines specific starch and flour strains to produce the soft tangy goodness that brings its unusual Afribolness to the fore.
Afribol Delight: The Afribol Delight is the most out-of-script of the Afribol family as it comes with a nutty addition. With no milk, butter, or dairy, the Afribol Delight is so soft, so velvety that it just smooths in your mouth. With an improbable mix of African, austro-caribbean and old Germanic ingredients, the Afribol Delight is a discovery to be made.
You get all three in the Starter Packet
The Black Koffie; Dark Knights and Arabian Knights coffee varieties make up the Afribol category that, according to an 'enjoyer of the Black Coffee variety, "intensifies the coffee-drinking experience".
Black Coffee Koffiebol: The Black Koffie variant is ideal for lovers of both real black coffee and coffee melange. Its deep dark froth in the mouth takes the coffee drinking eperience - be it expresso, Irish coffee or Milk coffee, to a truly different intensity level. The main ingredient in this variant is deep black coffee. As always, there is that spark of cayenne.
Dark Knights Koffiebol: The Dark Knight Koffie was an experiment gone off the hook. But when we tasted this mix of coffee and amandel, we were blown away. Yes, there is coffee in this ingredient, but so are suggestions of amandel, nut-based milk and a slither of tender condiments.
Arabian knights: There are few things more dramatic than the image of a stately Arabian Knight on his/her horse - theveil of power sweeping through the air as this magestic figure gallops in full speed across the desert. That is the imagery that drove the creation of the Arabian Knights coffee variety, with its touch of Cadamom and oh all that soft suggestions of Safron. This coffee is an ode to the Arabian knights of our world. Get the experience.

The firebols were the very frst afribols creaed in 2013. So hot were these bols that grown men teared up as they clamoured for more and more. Want to know why anyone would be tearing up because the bolls are so hot they spit fire, yet literally grabbing more and more to eat up? Take a try. They come also in 3 varieties.
Hotbolls: The hotbols are the original pepper bolls that Barbara made in 2013. They come with Cayenne and chilli, as well as touches of heat spices that give the bolls its exotic after-taste.
Firebol - Pepperbols: Ever experienced sweet and spice that turns the room into fire? Well, try these firebols. But please have a jug beside you. You will need to cool down every step of the way.
DragonFirebols (Bibi's Dragon fire): This is the hottest Afribols there is. Ever heard of the hottest spices in the world? Well, we thought an ode to our original idea of an Afribol would not be amis here - of course with a touch of other spicy techniques that would make it memorable. Adding 'BIBI' to this name is a hats-off to our spicy brother who thought up the name DragonFirebols. Here's to you Bibi.

'Afribol: 'sensationele smaak en een goed verhaal'
Why
Looks like we are going to repeat the beinning of this story. Sorry about that. But now that we want to tell you the story from the beginning, looks like we must start all over again. Our founder started the journey of creating an Afribol 'treat' in 2013 with the aim to raise capital to pay off the maternity bills of women in danger of being denied medical assistance during labour (particularly during complications) because they could not foot their hospital maternity bills upfront.
Birth of The Afribol

The Team
In 2016, the Afribol team was a mother-and-son team. The new Afribol team is made up of two women who are driven by a passion to create better conditions for other women and to build a global brand. The son remains a powerful force of support and help to the remodeled company. But the driving force now is the CEO and COO. And the businesses that will become part of the movement, along side all those private indivdual for whom good food could mean that much more.

To create something that could quickly generate enough money to carry out the intervention that our founder sought, she decided to not focus on her professional background but to turn to what she knew could bring people together quickly and get reaction fast: Food. What kind of food? Food so good no one would be able to resist - or at least 80+% of people who came across it. That is what led to the years of experimentation and innovation into the Afribol.
The Effect of the Afribol
The result of that effort has been a snack (and line of snacks) that people have literally declared 'sensational' ' hopelessly addictive' and 'out-of-this-world'.
The Secret ingredient
The secret in the Afribol's culinary particularity is not in the ingredients. It is in the process - which in the beginning took at least 48 hours to go through and later got shortened to several hours in one day. Perhaps the most sacred and prominent ingredient or secret nr 1, is the love that goes into the preparation - both in the Afribol kitchen and in the hands of the househod baker who later found a way to mass produce the original Afribol in 2016 & the years before COVID.
Making a Success of the Afribol
In 2006, a New York Times Travel writer named Nicholas Kristoff wrote a blog about a young pregnant woman dying on a hospital bed in Cameroon because the medics would not treat her without upfront payment for her hospital bills. It was money the husband did not have or could not produce at the hour that the medics were demanded it.
