Afribol landed in Jumbo just as COVID was encroaching. It was in the wake of this global pandemic that, to keep everyone workng on Afribol safe, we closed our doors. But now, the Afribol is back, and its makers and company are now about to continue with the promise they made to themselves to become a present part of combating maternal mortality and the disempowerment that in most cases, as the Birth Aid report shows, leads to it.

A Gifted Mom Report on the Birth Aid Fund

The work of Afribol and its Birth Aid Fund was really made possible by Dr Agbor Ashu (seen seated above) and the Giftedmom org in Cameroon. Also the act of brave care of the Rural Doctors also made the work of Afribol through the BirthAid Fund possible. The incredible nurses and other medics at the Muea health facility gave of themselves under very difficult conditions. The Afribol is now back to continue fulfilling its promise to these selfless men and women.

Nominated For the Albert Schweitzer Prijs 2018

This nomination for a non-medical team was a great endorsement for the work being done. That was enough for us to be grateful that the effort of the medics in Cameroon and the funding Afribol team was being seen and appreciated. Thanks to all those who went out to experience the sensational Afribol! Kudos to you all.
